1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

• "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions along with any rental agreement signed by the Renter.
• "Vehicle" means the motor vehicle rented from motorveilas, including all provided accessories and equipment.
• "Renter" or "you" refers to the individual or entity entering into this rental agreement.
• "We," "us," or "motorveilas" refers to the luxury car rental service provider operating in Singapore.
• "Rental Period" means the duration specified in the rental agreement from handover to scheduled return.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By renting a vehicle from motorveilas, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not proceed with the rental.

You confirm that you are at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license recognized in Singapore. International renters must present an International Driving Permit alongside their home country license.

3. Service Description

motorveilas provides luxury vehicle rental services in Singapore. We offer three primary solutions: Compact Luxury Daily, Performance Touring Duo, and Ultra-Luxury Chauffeur Suite. Each solution includes specified features as described on our website and in rental documentation.

Vehicle availability is subject to confirmation at the time of booking. We reserve the right to substitute vehicles with comparable models if the originally reserved vehicle becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances.

4. Rental Requirements

4.1 Driver Eligibility

To rent a vehicle, you must:

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Hold a valid driver's license for at least 2 years
• Provide a valid passport or national identification
• Present a credit card in your name for security deposit
• Have no serious traffic violations in the past 3 years

4.2 Additional Drivers

Only individuals listed on the rental agreement are authorized to operate the vehicle. Additional drivers must meet the same eligibility requirements and be approved by motorveilas before driving.

5. Booking and Reservations

5.1 Reservation Process

Reservations can be made through our website contact form or by calling our office directly. All bookings are subject to vehicle availability and confirmation from motorveilas.

5.2 Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made 72 hours or more before rental start: Full refund
• Cancellations made 24-72 hours before rental start: 50% refund
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before rental start: No refund

5.3 Modifications

Rental extensions are subject to vehicle availability and may incur additional charges. Contact us as early as possible if you need to modify your rental period.

6. Payment Terms

6.1 Pricing and Fees

Rental fees are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and include comprehensive insurance coverage, professional vehicle detailing, and specified amenities per solution tier. All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes.

6.2 Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit is required at vehicle handover. The deposit amount varies by vehicle type and will be communicated during booking. The deposit is released within 7-14 business days after vehicle return, subject to inspection and any outstanding charges.

6.3 Additional Charges

You may incur additional charges for:

• Fuel not replenished to the level at handover
• Late return without prior authorization
• Traffic violations incurred during rental period
• Damage to the vehicle not covered by insurance
• Cleaning fees for excessive dirtiness or smoking odor

7. Renter Responsibilities

7.1 Vehicle Care

You agree to:

• Operate the vehicle in accordance with Singapore traffic laws
• Maintain the vehicle in good condition and protect it from damage
• Check oil, water, and tire pressure regularly during extended rentals
• Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately
• Return the vehicle in the same condition as received, allowing for normal wear

7.2 Prohibited Uses

You must not:

• Use the vehicle for illegal purposes or transport illegal substances
• Allow unauthorized individuals to operate the vehicle
• Use the vehicle for racing, rallying, or competitive driving
• Operate the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Smoke in the vehicle or transport pets without prior approval
• Transport more passengers than the vehicle is designed to carry
• Take the vehicle outside Singapore without written permission

8. Insurance and Liability

8.1 Included Coverage

All rentals include comprehensive insurance coverage as required by Singapore law. This covers third-party liability and comprehensive damage to the vehicle, subject to standard policy exclusions and deductibles.

8.2 Renter Liability

You are responsible for damage resulting from negligence, violation of these terms, or prohibited uses. The insurance deductible (excess) applies to damage claims and will be deducted from your security deposit.

8.3 Accident Procedures

In the event of an accident, you must immediately contact motorveilas and local authorities if required. Obtain details of all parties involved and complete an accident report. Failure to report accidents may void insurance coverage.

9. Vehicle Return

Vehicles must be returned at the agreed time and location. Late returns without authorization will incur additional daily rental charges plus any costs incurred by motorveilas due to the delay.

Upon return, the vehicle will be inspected for damage, cleanliness, and fuel level. Any discrepancies will be documented and charged to the security deposit or payment method on file.

10. Limitation of Liability

motorveilas provides vehicles on an "as is" basis. While we maintain our fleet to high standards, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not liable for:

• Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from vehicle use
• Personal property left in vehicles
• Delays, breakdowns, or mechanical failures beyond our control
• Losses resulting from traffic violations or parking fines
• Damages exceeding the amount of insurance coverage

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold motorveilas harmless from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the vehicle, violation of these terms, or negligent or unlawful conduct.

12. Termination

motorveilas reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement and repossess the vehicle without notice if:

• You breach any terms of this agreement
• The vehicle is used for illegal purposes
• Payment is not received when due
• The vehicle is abandoned or not returned at the agreed time
• You provide false information in your rental application

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Singapore courts.

Both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good faith negotiation before pursuing legal action. If negotiation fails, disputes may be resolved through mediation before proceeding to court.

14. General Provisions

14.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with the signed rental agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and motorveilas regarding vehicle rental.

14.2 Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

14.3 Waiver

Failure by motorveilas to enforce any provision of these terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.

14.4 Assignment

You may not transfer or assign your rights or obligations under this agreement without written consent from motorveilas.

15. Changes to Terms

motorveilas reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

For rentals already in progress or booked before changes are made, the terms in effect at the time of booking will apply.
